Yagi for the VHF 146 mHz |

The boom is made of ¾ PVC plactic pipe, all 5 elements are made of 3/16" aluminium rods. |
A RF Choke was made with a couple of turns of RG-58U coax |
All measurements are in inches |
The elements material came from an old antenna |
Use a WiseGrip to align all the holes |
Make the holes a little bit smaller than the aluminum rod than apply some CrazyGlue |
I applied two 4-40 screws to connect the coax |
The SWR is less than 1.5 |
The SWR is good and the impedance is almost resistive "J" is only 4 ohms |
The gain is very good and with a 10 degrees, this antenna will
perfect when working in your hand while walking
