Using the Doppler home by VE2HLS

Picture of my doppler's home antenna, it's on top of a 20 ft pipe.

In the shack : From the left, a scanner, homemade Doppler, on the right a old  2 meters Yaesu Ft-227R, a commercial radio Phoenix plus a homemade attenuator.

This is how the system is working !

When receiving a signal on the antenna, the Yaesu receives the information and sends
it to the Doppler.  The results are read by the doppler.

The center Led is green when a strong signal is received, in this case the 120 degrees
red LED is on.  On the display we see Q8 which means that is the strongest signal I can
receive (Q1 to Q8) 117 degrees from my location, the INT (integration) is adjusted to 160 a bearing is sent every 160 rotations.
